The North Oconee River Greenway is a 3.5 mile, paved bicycling and walking path that is open sunrise to sunset every day. The Greenway path is open to all types of non-motorized uses and dogs are welcome as long as they are on a leash. There are over 700 acres of greenspace along the Greenway including a number of riverside parks. Please visit the About the Greenway page for more information.

Rules and Regulations
- Dogs are always welcome but must be on-leash and under control at all times. Help us keep pet waste off of paths and out of streams! Scoopy Doo Bags and receptacles are provided at all facilities.
- Bicycling is permitted on paved surfaces only.
- Please clean up after yourself and your pet along the trail and at the picnic/rest areas.
- Alcohol is prohibited in all parks at all times.
- Smoking is prohibited in all parks at all times.
Fishing
Fishing is permitted along the Greenway, in Riverside Parks and along Cook’s Trail. All fishers must use Georgia legal equipment and have a DNR fishing license. The GA DNR website has more information about licenses and regulations www.gadnr.org. Like anywhere along the Greenway, please respect the banks and vegetation along the river and clean up your trash.
